Picking Pumpkins

On Sunday, we headed to Benson's Farm to get some pumpkins. I remember going with a class when I was younger and it is a great place for kids to wander around and pick a pumpkin. There were not many large pumpkins due to the arctic temperatures taking a toll on the crop a few weeks ago but we managed to get a few good ones and several smaller ones. We had been reading a book to Adalyn about going to the pumpkin patch for a few weeks and she is so excited every time we talk about or see pumpkins so she had a lot of fun!

Which one to choose?

Got one!

Pretty corn and squash

As I mentioned the freezing temperatures we recently had, here are some photos of Adalyn playing in SNOW on October 9th! The temp was maybe 20 degrees when we went outside so we weren't out for long, but Adalyn would have stayed outside until she nearly froze if she had her way! I don't think she even noticed the cold as she was too excited to see snow.

Rosy cheeks and a frozen mama finally "convinced" Addy to head inside!

Her pumpkin is perfect just like her! Looks like you all had a fun time. Now I wanna see her pulling out the pumpkin guts. :)
