First Swim Lessons

Adalyn started her first parent-toddler swim classes this week at Currents Aquatic Center. This class is designed to introduce toddlers to safe water practices and the foundation for additional swim classes in the future. Adalyn seems to like the classes for the most part, but she gets really shy around the instructor. This class only had three toddlers signed up and just one other toddler came on the first day and only Adalyn was there for the second class. She doesn't like all of the attention on her :) She really likes to practice things with Jamey. Her favorite thing is to jump in the pool to Jamey when she has her floaty on. She also really likes playing in the splash fountains before the class starts. She looks so grown up out in the pool! I come and watch the classes but I am kind of a distraction when Adalyn sees me, she says "miss mommy," because she misses me and wants to come over by me. We have four more classes to attend. She does get really excited about going and likes to talk about swimming being fun and she's "essited" (excited) to go.

Good job mommy and daddy on getting her into swim lessons! She looks like she is really enjoying it :)
